Steve was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. He attended High School in Houston, Texas and moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1987. Steve has worked in radio for more than 15 years. He has two boys and remarried in October 2008. When Steve isn't on the air at Movin 104.9, he is spinning the hottest dance music as "DJ LEFTY" at Chilkoot Charlie's Wednesday through Saturday nights. He is also busy working as a mobile DJ for M&M Productions, specializing in weddings, school dances, and corporate functions.
